What does it look like?
The symptoms of conduct disorder, which may become evident even in preschoolers (especially those who have symptoms of oppositional defiant disorder), can include:

  • Aggression leading to harm, or threats of harm, to people or to animals
  • Damaging or destroying property
  • Thieving, such as break and enter, shoplifting, stealing money, or car theft
  • Lying to or “conning” people
  • School truancy[1]
